I love the art of Walt Kelly. Pogo, in my opinion, was one of the ten greatest comic strips of all time (along with Rip Kirby, Lil Abner, Calvin and Hobbes, etc.). I won't go on about Kelly's artistic ability, lettering skills and writing genius, but I'll just say that this was the first expensive comic art I ever purchased, around 2010. I've never posted this piece here before, because it's too big for my scanner, but I recently found a jpg. of the original on line. The resolution isn't great but it's better than nothing. I have a replacement logo on my piece.

Update: After I posted this I decided to snap a photo of the piece with my phone, and just replaced the original jpg from the internet. Mine has much better resolution, but the colors are off. For example, you can' really see the blue lines - they appear gray.
