Description

Jeremy didn't go to to SDCC this year so he decided to list 4 con sketches in his bigcartel store. I couldn't resist the opportunity to add another piece by Jeremy to the collection since it had been a few years since I purchased one from him. After a lot of consideration I decided to have him do another Kimono girl since he was doing the pieces on bristol board instead of the tea-stained paper like he used when I commissioned him back in 2012. I asked that he do a full-figure piece and maybe work a Japanese garden into the background.

Well what Jeremy came up with is absolutely mind-blowing. I knew that Jeremy liked the subject matter because he had mentioned it when I commissioned the last one so I knew he would be on board. When he posted the piece on Instagram he said this is a small taste of what it would be like if he could design a Samurai Showdown game. Let's just say I am definitely on board for that.

The detail that Jeremy always puts into his pieces is phenomenal. You never know exactly what he is going to come up with. He has the wildest imagination and that comes through in all of his pieces. I never imagined what he would come up with but his ideas are always fantastic. I love the beetles on the beetle helmet and turning the legs into swords is just an amazing detail. And the background he included is simply gorgeous. I am beyond ecstatic with the piece. Another amazing kimono girl added to the collection.
