Kimono Girl by Mathieu Reynès

I love Mathieu's style and had been wanting a Kimono girl by him for a while so I decided to order another copy of his book "Eyes Wild Open" and request a kimono girl since he draws in all of the copies that are purchased directly from him. I wasn't sure if he would take on the piece or not but I didn't think it would hurt to ask. He said it was no problem and a cool idea so here is the finished product.

I was absolutely stunned when I opened the book and found this breathtaking 2 page spread inside. I definitely wasn't expecting it to be on 2 full pages but I love what he came up with. The flow of the kimono is what really makes the piece so stunning. I know they are just simple ink brush strokes but I love that flowing pattern. I knew Mathieu would come up with something awesome and he did not disappoint. Another gorgeous Kimono girl that I am happy to have.
