Tribulus by Derec Donovan

Out of all of the new characters to debut in the 2009 R.E.B.E.L.S. series, Tribulus was probably my favorite. He looked a lot like Validus, but we've still yet to learn what connection they have, if any. Vril Dox used Tribulus almost like an guard dog, standing behind him for intimidation purposes, and for devastating attacks when needed. I sincerely hope that whenever a new L.E.G.I.O.N. or R.E.B.E.L.S. series reappears, that Tribulus is still with the group. Derec drew a powerful and vicious-looking Tribulus here, and I love it. I also really dig the background and the energy coming off of Tribulus's head. Thanks, Derec!

I wasn't familiar with Tribulus, but this is a very cool piece, and Derec continues to knock this series of commissions out of the park!
