Description

Alex brings a wonderful lush inking style to his work. I ran across a small illustration of this piece on his website. It echoed the exotic barbarity of the original Burroughs story. Burroughs has remained my favorite author over the years.For me, no other author can touch the "Master of Adventure." When I contacted Alex, it turned out he was also a big Burroughs fan. After some discussion, he agreed to enlarge the piece for me. I was thrilled by the exotically regal appearance of his captive Dejah Thoris. Alex was a pleasure to work with.
