I mean, com'on! It's Nova, the Sphinx, Mister Fantastic, Star-God Man-Wolf, Moonstone and the Basilisk! ~Okay~, it's also got Darkhawk but it's also got a close-up of the Sphinx smiling so it balances out in the end. Wonderful page from Mahmud and Scott. oh, and SPHINX RULZ!

Oh, you mean this really great run by Abnett and Lanning that was mysteriously cancelled just when it was really gaining major steam. Still peaved about this, but you got a great page from a great storyline. Congrats.

Totally missed this when it came out. That '05 to '10 period when comics were coming and going so fast I couldn't keep up. I only learned about it one day while looking for some reference pics of the Sphinx for a commission. I saw what turned out to be a panel from this story. One quick trip to mycomicshop.com later ... :)

Abnett and Lanning resurrected Marvel's space heroes. Thanks to their great run on Nova and Guardians of the Galaxy, we get a Guardians of the Galaxy movie. Never thought I would see that happen. Who knows? If the Guardians movie is a success we might get to see a Nova movie with the Sphinx as the villain. Now that would be a treat.
