DescriptionMy friend Malvin (AKA The Hardest Working Man in the Original Art Hobby) purchased one side of an X-Men double page spread (DPS) in 2011, and by 2014 had managed to locate the other half to complete the large image. I purchased this right side of the Daredevil #90 DPS (page 3) in 2019, and my goal is to cut Malvin's time in half by finding the missing page 2 this year. It could happen!I am not the first person to attempt this impracticable quest. In recent years two other collectors have owned this page, and sensibly decided to sell it when the missing left side didn't surface. From a past owner: "This old piece was a one-time deal that I got from a friend of mine that picked it up from a guy that got it back in 1972. I was told this was the only piece that the guy had. He was an art major in college and went to some comic show back then and it was the only piece he picked up." I welcome a challenge, and deny that this cursed monkey's paw could trigger unintended consequences! Nothing we do, however virtuous, can be accomplished alone; therefore I formally deputize you as an emissary in this hallowed quest. If you have ever seen page 2, or own it yourself, kindly drop me a line! It is right it should be so; I was made for Black Widow; And when this I rightly know Thro’ the World I'll safely go. Night, right. You took some time to make that rhyme. A stretch of language, just like mine. Good luck in your knightly quest. I mean it too, I do not jest. May all your panel dreams come true and if they don't, don't feel too blue. lol.

What a huge and ultra impressive image of Black Widow! This half can easily stand on its own but I understand your desire to reunite it with its partner. I will keep my eyes open for it! Congrats man!

Love the write-up. Should this page cross my sight, I will inform you, let's make this right. :) This splash is great, BTW, and I love that it comes with a quest. Congrats!

Love the poses and dynamics in this DPS! Like so many of my fav Colan DD images, the artist heightens the sense of vertigo with his tortured, rule-breaking perspective. The splash you've got in hand is dynamite as is, but good luck unearthing the other half!

Have you pulled an Al Williamson?
Look on the back to make sure the other side isn't folded over behind it : )
