DescriptionThis is a page from a story that is a parody (and also a tribute) of Paolo Villaggio's most famous creation, Fantozzi (first published in a novel, 1971, then used as a lead character in a series of movies, between 1975 and 1999), written by Massimo Marconi and amazingly illustrated by Giorgio Cavazzano, first published in Topolino magazine #1694 in 1988.The story begins with Scrooge behaving tyrannically towards his secretary and being accused by his nephews of treating his employees "worse than Fantozzi." Unfamiliar with the character, his nephews subject him to a full-immersion film session, but he still thinks he was right to scold his secretary in that way. However, the latter suddenly appears with his own invention, a dimensional machine, and takes revenge on Scrooge by sending him to a dimension where he finds himself in the guise of a hapless and servile clerk. It is basically a fun ride with many references to the character created by Paolo Villaggio, and a heartfelt tribute to the most popular fictional comedy character in Italy (even today, 50 years after his first movie).
