Description

When comics fans think of John Byrne, they think of his classic runs on Uncanny X-Men, Fantastic Four, Superman and, perhaps to a lesser extent, Alpha Flight. But his "Vision Quest" storyline in West Coast Avengers in the late 1980s was tremendous fun.

If memory serves, I picked this up for a great price at Albert Moy's table at Comic-Con International in San Diego a decade or so ago. One of the best pages in my humble collection of original comic art.

Thanks, Felix! Machlan's finishes are quite sharp. I'm surprised he and Byrne didn't work together more often. Their styles are quite compatible.
