Whenever you can include Loki in an Avengers reboot, it's a glorious day.
He is just so delightfully evil.

Take for instance this awesome splash, which was used as the cover for the 3rd printing of the issue.

He appears with the Final Host, after having just magicked Captain Marvel, Thor and Iron Man into submission. He declares himself "The Greatest Avenger Who Ever Lived," also pointing out in the previous page that there wouldn't even BE an Avengers if not for him.

He goes on to say that the 'avenging' that he and the Final Host must carry out is "salvation through global extinction", and it begins now.

Great stuff.

Loki and the Dark Celestials. That is a very cool pairing. McGuinness made a beautiful cover here, and I especially like the magic runic path he's walking on. Awesome cover! Congrats
