He used the shadow work and rain to great effect! I'm alos glad that he credited Breyfogle, as so many contemporary copy other covers without bothering to credit the original artists. Nice one!

You got this from birthday boy 5/14 Nicola Barrucci? A real step up in design for Haeser where the flow and pooling of ink is so "It's was a dark and stormy night..." in storytelling.

It would appear that Mr Haeser really understood the assignment! Great moody atmosphere, rendered perfectly - lots to love about this one.
