It's the Austin inks that make all the feathers and fur fly! Lim in his 90's best as he was a workhorse, but somehow finds the time to turn out great covers!

YES! YES! YES! FINALLY! OMG, I LOVE seeing this SO MUCH! No offense intended, but my eyes were starting to glaze over after seeing no character variety for what feels like a year now! I love Spidey as much as the next guy, but after nothing but Spidey for what feels like a year, this is SO REFRESHING to see! Talk about a surprising change of pace! Not only do you pull out non-Spidey art, but you really put the scews to us by completely flipping from Marvel to DC. All I can say is AWESOME! Plus, I love Hawkman and this Austin inked Lim image is really fab! Here's my vote for a year of non-Spidey art, mixing it up like you used to! Pretty please?

So wait, do you approve of this post or not? Haha! I agree that I have been very Spider-intensive lately, which I think is why I went with something so vastly different. Though I don't think I can go a whole year without Spidey, I can certainly try a few weeks and see how that works out. I don't want to suffer withdrawal, or get the bends, or whatever happens in this case. :-) Thanks for the enthusiastic comment!

Hawkman challenging that "king of the jungle" moniker :) Makes you wants to open up the book and see what happens in this animal rumble inside. Congrats on a fun '90s add from one of the best and most prolific artists of the time in Lim!
