Description

Not new to my collection, but reposting some older acquisitions. Very thankful to Kelvin Mao for parting with this piece many years ago, as it was and remains a childhood favorite of mine. Mignola had a killer run of Alpha Flight covers but this one in particular knocked out 11 year old me--Wolvie taking on a horde of Samurai led by the then-new character Lady Deathstrike. If only Mignola had done the interior art!

Love the emotions and body language Mike infused into this one--the horde of Samurai are all tentative & hesitant, while Wolverine and Guardian are poised and confident as they take care of business.

Best cover of his run.
