DescriptionBill Sienkiewicz's Moon Knight #15 page 15. Moon Knight is featured in all 5 panels and twice in full costume, on this exceptional example from issue #15. Moon Knight was first introduced as a nemesis for the Werewolf in Werewolf by Night #32. The appeal of the character was so great that he was soon launched into his own adventures as a hero, culminating in his own title in 1980. Sienkiewicz’s early work on the character clearly reflected his interest in Neal Adams’s Batman, and it was on this series that his style developed into something uniquely his own. Moon Knight is one of the Marvel heroes with which Sienkiewicz is most closely associated and interest continues to rise in original art from the series. This art has an image area of approximately 10" x 15".Social/Sharing |
