Description

The one Frank King original which I dreamed of owning but never thought existed -- but it does! This not only fills the gap I had in my collection -- an early, hand-colored Sunday original, it is also one of my favorite Sunday pages in the entire series. As with most of King's originals, this great Sunday page remained in King's family for nine decades, until it was auctioned through Russ Cochran, from whom I purchased it in April 2017.

Wow! A great Sunday. King was so much more than a storyteller and a cartoonist...he was a humanist. A great addition to the greatest Gasoline Alley collection anywhere.
