I have been a HUGE fan of Tony Daniel's art since I bought his Batman #672 cover in 2012 (Batman on a motorcycle -- it's posted in my BATMAN gallery). I have had the pleasure of corresponding with Tony numerous times over the years, and he has always been super friendly and accommodating.

This cover was on my wish list for a long time, as I love mano a mano battles like this one, especially with a full figure Batman throwing a knockout punch. I finally pulled the trigger, knowing I would kick myself from here to next Tuesday if I missed out. To be honest, when I first saw the cover, I thought Batman was fighting Mr. Freeze. But then I discovered it was this other character, Mr. Toxin.

I always feel bad that guys like Mr. Toxin and Mr. Freeze couldn't continue their education long enough for them to get their PhDs or medical degrees, as 'Doctor Toxin' and 'Doctor Freeze' sound so much cooler, but 'Mister' will just have to do I guess.

Love Sandu Florea's inks on this one as well. He always approaches his inking with such care and attention to detail.

Ooh, me likey! I've always quite liked Daniel's work on Batman. This is a really great action oriented piece, too. But wouldn't just "Toxin" have sounded better? Though I think there already is a character by that name...As for his appearance, he looks a lot like The Atomic Skull (Now THAT is a great name!). Any connection between them?

And yet another stunning Batman cover! I remember picking up this comic and really digging the cover, and the artwork in general. I've always enjoyed Tony Daniel's work on Batman! You keep getting the good stuff!

Ok, now you turned the wrong way! Stay at Marvel and do not turn to DC! That's a fantastic Tec cover by Tony! His style on his variants is great. By the way, did you see his new ASM variant? 😉

Just a classic straight up vs shot between these 2! Liking that Batman left that's appearing to impact Mr. Toxin through his helmet?! Good stuff! And I like the commentarly about Dr. vs. Mr...I'd agree :) Congrats!

Great cover! Ironically I almost pulled the trigger on this one a couple of times, so guess I am the one regretting not doing so. Love this image by Tony.
