Description

Action Comic #800 a double size aniversary issue, first published on February 5, 2003 and involved Paqual Ferry, Tim Sale, Bill Sienkiewicz, Jim Lee, Lee Bermejo, J.H. Willians, Alex Ross, among others.

From his arrival on earth to when he finally donned his famous costume, Superman's life is re-examined, and a new character who inspired him to be a reporter is introduced. Plus, in more reality-based vignettes, we look at the effect Superman has had on everyday people!

In this scene Lois Lane meets Superman for the first time. He just saved a plane which she was traveling and sparks fly between them.
