Excellent set of pages. The third panel on page 43 hits pretty hard when you realize the damage done.

I'd say it's certainly more manga than ish (as is all Ultramega) ;)

That second page is so brutal.

You can feel the acceleration, hear the "splorch", sense the "oh , crap", and see the life drain away into the darkness. All in that Harren storytelling flair that is at the forefront of making you feel something from your reading experience.
