Description

This page caught my eye at a dealer's table at SDCC and I snagged it for a song as the convention was about to close on Sunday. At the time I'd never heard of Kevin Nowlan, and had no idea what book the page was from, but I was blown away by the old-school drawing and inking skills on display (and as someone later pointed out, this page has a distinct Moebius vibe). Enjoying this page and learning about Nowlan led me to pick up the Hulk 362 cover the next year.

EDIT: This page was sold to the owner of the companion page from the same issue, who is an even bigger Nowlan/Outsiders fan than I am. I think later he sold those pages to help pay for even better pages from the same Outsiders Annual issue. I'm leaving this up in my gallery because it's one of only two pages I've ever sold, and I still feel a connection to it.
