DescriptionI'm sorry! I usually try to stay focused and collect mainly from the 1928-1949 time period, however my mind "tooned-out" when I saw this "Who Found Roger Rabbit" Toontown Diner Pre-Production Concept Art. Who Found Roger Rabbit was a proposed fourth short in the Roger Rabbit series of shorts that followed the wildly popular feature film Who Framed Roger Rabbit. This wonderful piece of concept art features the Toontown Diner where Jessica was set to play a waitress and Roger was working the counter. The piece was rendered in gouache on 20" x 12" Crescent illustration board. The image area measures 15" x 8.5". There should be someone out there who can "toon me in" on the name of this talented artist? - My guess it is background stylist and painter Don Moore who's credits include Tarzan (1999), Hercules (1997), The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1996), Pocahontas (1995) and The Lion King (1994) to name a few.Social/Sharing |
