Description

Growing up reading comics, I was more into the characters than the creative teams. The first true Batman artist that made me take notice of him and his own unique style was Mr. Kelley Jones. For years I have wanted a Batman commission from him, and for those who know me and my Supergirl collection, it's saying something that I'd choose another character before her. That is a testament to my admiration for Mr. Jones and his Batman work. Luckily for me, I managed to arrange this commission directly with Kelley and he turned out to be one of the nicest, most respectful, and most impressive artist I've ever commissioned. This piece just blew me out of the water. Thank you so much to Kelley Jones for helping me realize one of my childhood dreams!

I LOVE this. I'm a HHUGE fan of Kelley's work. What he's done for you is an epic scene that's comic book worthy. What was the actual commission request?

The line work on the machine is a wonderful contrast to the heavy blacks. Congrats on this piece!

For me too Kelley Jones was one of the few artists whose unique style I recognized as a kid (and layman). Mindblowing Masterpiece!

The illustration is fantastic, as is all of Kelley's work, but I'm ashamed to say I don't know who the villain is. : - (
