Description"My name is Peter Parker, and I've been Spider-Man since I was fifteen years old."One of my favorite Marvel Moments EVER, especially since it involved the whole Spider-Man/secret identity mythos. And if you're gonna reveal your identity, do it right and SHOW THE WHOLE WORLD !! As you can see from the additional images, this is THE page where the world sees Peter's unmasked face for the very first time. My favorite thing about the page is how J. Jonah Jameson passes out in his office on the bottom panel. Hahahaha! That made me laugh SO HARD! Because let's face it ... before this event, if you EVER thought about Peter revealing himself to the world, which character would you KNOW would be the most flabbergasted & traumatized? Jolly J.J.J., of course!! Just great stuff. Hope you enjoy it. This is Week 15 of my Spidey postings, featuring the artistic team of Steve McNiven & Dexter Vines. I have also posted a wonderful Ultimate Spider-Man cover featuring your favorite wall-crawler VS Mysterio and the Black Cat. Please check it out! Social/Sharing |

This depiction is my favorite of all the "unmasking" pages. You see the innocence in Peter's face and the reaction to his admission. The first panel is given so much more power from the second panel. It emphasized just how monumental his unmasking was. Truly an iconic panel, and integral part of the overall storyline. Congrats amigo!!

This was so good. Then they ruined it with the ridiculous memory wipe nonsense. Aargh.
