Description

This is the published cover of Topolino #2751, inspired by the first episode of the story "Paperino Paperotto e la strada per Quacktown" in the issue.

Paperino Paperotto is a series starring the life and childhood of Donald Duck and his friends in stories. The comics were created in Italy and published by Disney Italia. Created by Bruno Enna, Diego Fasano, and Paola Mulazzi, Donald Duckling lives in Quacktown, a country village on the outskirts of Duckburg located where there is the farm of Grandma Duck with the little goat Billy.

Donald's group of friends in Quacktown includes:
- Louis Cromb, a duckling very thoughtful and introverted, who loves science and science fiction magazines, and is the best childhood friend of Donald;
- Betty Lou, a very pampered and sophisticated girl, never athletic and is full of frills;
- Tom Lovett, the neighbor of Donald (Grandma Duck's farm), madly in love with Betty Lou, sometimes he and Donald happened to be enemies, but through their rivalry, a deep friendship was born;
- Millicent, loves money and his idol is Scrooge, with her rationality can sometimes contain the exuberance of Donald.

The stories appeared initially in Topolino (Mickey Mouse magazine) comic books with its first appearance being the story "Paperino Paperotto e il giorno più duro", published in Topolino #2250 of January 12, 1999.
The "Donald Duckling universe" was (and still is) a success, so that, as of today, hundreds of stories and covers have been created, mostly in Italy but there are roughly 50 stories created in other countries.

Here's a fantastic cover by Stefano Intini with all the gang, starting from bottom left, to the top right, you can see Tom, Young Donald, Millicent, Betty Lou, and Louis. I really couldn't miss the opportunity to own a cover with all the characters of the series also illustrated by one of the artists I love the most.
