Description

This is the original cover art of Topolino Extra #13 that reprints a few Disney stories with a Christmas theme, including "Zio Paperone e il condono natalizio", written by Tito Faraci and illustrated by Stefano Intini, that inspired this piece.

The story is unusual in having Scrooge and Mickey together and in focusing on Santa granting a "free wish" to all Earth's inhabitants that will cause major problems.

Intini is amazingly good at composing the piece, giving it life and movement, and fun.

Plus, you already know I have a thing for the Xmas-themed Disney stuff, right?

Comparing the final published piece (see additional images), you'll notice that Intini ultimately changed some details digitally.
