Description

As dubious as one might be of his acting talents, you've gotta admit that Nicolas Cage loves him some comics. The former Nicolas Coppola even took his stage name from one of his favorite superheroes: Luke "Power Man" Cage. And of course, Cage -- the actor, not the Hero For Hire -- portrayed another comics character, Ghost Rider, in a pair of... well... not terribly good films.

Thus, it made perfect sense to bring two of Nic's faves together for a Common Elements romp. Enter artist Larry Stroman, who drew a Ghost Rider story or two back in the day. Stroman brings his characteristic flair for atmospheric oomph to this pairing.

Thanks to CAF member Jerry Livengood of Serendipity Art Sales for managing the transaction, as well as for suggesting the Las Vegas motif -- also very Nic Cage.

Incredible piece! Larry is one of the most underrated "old school" guys who very much should be illustrating more books today.
