DescriptionGoin' old school tonight and posting two of the EARLIEST pages of art that I ever acquired. This one is a great action page with Spider-Girl battling Mr Nobody. I love that top panel with the multiple images of Spider-Girl, the way artists show how a hero can move so fast that they seem to be in five places at once. Note how in one of the images, she is waggling her fingers with her thumbs in her ears, even as Mr Nobody fires a gun at her. This early in her first solo run, she already had that sense of fun and cheekiness that she obviously inherited from her father. This cat-and-mouse interplay leads to a great splashy panel of Spider-Girl ripping apart Mr Nobody's tech suit that allows him to teleport. Love this page! Social/Sharing |

Congratulations on finally posting some of the earliest pages you ever acquired! No doubt about it, the top panel is certainly an extravaganza of multiple images in motion. Really great art, too!

Of the two you posted this is my favorite. It's hard to beat a good battle page. Nice additions!!!

Climactic page of the battle where you can see Olliffe and Williamson having fun and doing something unique!

That top panel exemplifies the fun that was the Spider-Girl title in all of its iterations.

You KNOW I love me some multiple-pages-to-convey-movement! Killer example in that top panel, as she makes a full circle! AND a final panel battle splashy shot. Great stuff, Paul, congrats!

Fun fact, Mr. Nobody's first appearance was a few few issues earlier in Spider-Girl #1. Great page, Paul!
