DescriptionI really love this pg 33 splash from Spider-Girl's very first Annual, which appropriately came out after her first twelve issues.That first series ran for 100 issues, so at this early point in Spider-Girl's history, there was a TON of fun still in store. With this jam-packed splash, we got a really fun preview of characters that would be gracing the Spider-Girl-Verse in the coming months: DARKDEVIL, THE ORIGINAL SPIDER-MAN, KAINE, BUZZ and even SPEEDBALL! And a really nice image of SPIDER-GIRL in the center of it all. Spider-Girl front and center!! Thanks for looking. Social/Sharing |

Always thought of Spider-Girl as Olliffe's baby. Don't think anyone has ever drawn her better. Nice splash!

A wonderful splash, no wonder you like it! I'm stunned that the first series lasted 100 issues, that's wild! Great images and art here, kudos!

Poor Spider-Girl. She peaked to soon. After meeting Speedball, meeting all these other D-listers must of been a real drag.

It's so cool with the same Olliffe energy of his Untold Tales run! It's has great crossover characters coming in from outside of MC2!

Beautiful work from Olliffe and Buscema! A great shot of Mayday standing strong in the middle, with a sweet compositional blend of close ups and mid-shots across the rest of the page to capture that "the future is bright and crazy and exciting and cool and look what's in store!" feel that is essential to one of these "COMING SOON!" pages. How could one not be on board with this lineup? I mean, come on!! You had me at "Speedball"! :) Fantastic pick up, Paul! Congrats!

I know, right? Speedball ALONE is worth the price of admission. I noticed your first draft had "Olive" instead of "Olliffe." Before you deleted it and sent a corrected one, I thought maybe that was his nickname in the artist community, lol. I was totally ready to embrace that, as well as other nicknames. Olive & Buscy! Anyway, thanks for the comment my friend.

You gotta love these preview pieces! Like movie posters, giving the ultimate tease in an expertly composed mix of images! And you know I love me some Kaine, so you had me right there :) Congrats, Paul!

This is a really great page. Chances are you are going to like at least one of these characters and will want to read what is going to happen next. That Stan Lee signature is the icing on the cake. Nice add!!!
