Description(Duck Soup?) Count Chocula and Frankenberry together in one great setup! Any collector of cereal memorabilia knows that the monster cereals are likely the most sought after. Their cels are hard to come by, and a setup with the original hand-painted background is next to impossible!Count Chocula first appeared in 1971, and Frankenberry soon followed in the same year. There were other moster cereals too of course, Boo Berry, Yummy Mummy, and Fruit Bruit - but the Count and Frankenberry remain the most popular even today. This setup on its key-master hand-painted background features the two monsters facing off, each holding a box of their own cereal (and an extra box for both on the table!). Based on the box art, this commercial is from 1971-1977, but if anyone happens to know which one, please let me know. Social/Sharing |
