DescriptionTonight, I am posting two covers that feature a character from the Spiderverse, ANDY MAGUIRE, code-name ALPHA.With this cover image you get Alpha in a defiant pose standing in front of the smoldering ruins of a demolished cityscape. Was he responsible? Sure looks like it! SPECIAL NOTE: If anyone owns (or knows who owns) the cover to Alpha: Big Time #2, please let me know, as I would be very interested in buying it. ***ALPHA debuted in Amazing Spider-Man #692 (Aug, 2012) and later got his own mini-series called “ALPHA: BIG TIME” which lasted six issues (#0.1 and #1-5). Andy Maguire achieved his powers at Horizon Labs, where Peter Parker worked for a while, when a problem arose during a demonstration of “Parker Particles.” While trying to save a girl named Chrissy in the chaos, Andy Maguire was struck by the energy himself. Instead of being fatally injured, he miraculously survived and gained the ability to create a hyper-kinetic form of energy tied to the forces of the universe. After being tested by many scientists and superheroes, Andy became the new spokesman of Horizon Labs, while he was being trained by Peter Parker's superhero alter-ego, Spider-Man.*** Social/Sharing |

Never in my life have I ever heard of this title or character, but since you love it and are looking for the second issue cover.....
DaCollector here, calling out for #2’s cover art,
track down the piece's owner, make them part.
Until that prized cover finds its destined heart,
Pauly P will feel pain, in his heart.

this demolished cityscape has more of a post zombie apocalypse feel to it it in my eyes, so maybe ALPHA is just misunderstood for posing in front of it with his arms crosssed and that bratty look on his face!? nice Ramos art nonetheless, hope you find the other cover you're after!
