Description

There were many highlights from SDCC 2024, but spending time with Scott Williams and picking up this absolutely stunning cover from him might have been the highest among them. Dealing with Scott is always an absolute pleasure and I'm thrilled to add another of his exceptional examples to my collection. As always, seeing his work in person is just so damn impressive. Huge thanks to Scott!

Brilliant! Scott Williams brings it with a ton experience in getting the look that defined and powered the 90's onward to today! The perfect weekend to pick this up coinciding with the movie, the convention, and the seeing the man himself!

Spending any time with Scott is always time well spent. He has never been anything but warm, friendly, and kind, in all the time I've been fortunate enough to know him. And of course you only have to look at this amazing piece to know just how talented he is too. Congrats sir!

Damn those naysayers. The theatrical films really DO play a role in art collectors' purchasing decisions at time! Great to see Williams pencilling as well as inking, too.

Scott Williams doesn't get nearly the attention he deserves as a penciler,. Inker yes, penciler no. But clearly he deserves a little more respect. This X-Men #26 cover is ample demonstration of that. Now while I know this cover homages Jim and Scott's own X-Men #5 with Wolverine battling Omega Red, it's still an awesome piece of work on its own merits. I'd love to see more more of Scott WIllams personal work in the future, so he can step out of the shadow of Jim Lee and into his own light.
