Description

This adorable pairing of magnificent mutants came via one of Mike McKone's periodic art drops. Mike doesn't do many full-body pieces for these drops, and even more rarely creates two-character scenes, so I was absolutely ecstatic to have this one fall my way. Thanks to Mike's art rep Tatiana Dykes at TD Art Gallery, who always manages Mike's sales with equanimity and grace.

The pin up is rich with deep color and singes your senses with the contrasts. The nostalgia factor for Excalibur is strong and McKone plays into that flavor.
