Description

A Marvel character at the peak of his popularity meets a legend at the twilight of his career. Written by Punisher co-creator Gerry Conway with art duties handled by Dave Cockrum, Punisher: Bloodlines was originally intended as a Marvel Comics Presents storyline, but perhaps the editors felt a one-shot better met the demand of Punisher fans. On this cover you see something that was not uncommon with the Punisher covers of the 90s: Frank Castle guarding over children (sometimes with their mother). Why? The boy and the girl on this cover, for example, serve as surrogates for Frank�s own deceased children, Lisa and Frank Jr.
