Description

The opportunity to have an original Batman Cover artist recreate one of his works was a temptation I could not resist.
Especially since this interpertation of Batman remains a fond childhood favorite. It took me a very long time to warm up to the yellow oval, new look.
It was simply a question of which cover to do and this dynamic image of Batman rising from the water as Robin nails a hood was a very easy choice.
Jim Mooney is so great!

This has been one of my favorite recreations by Jim Mooney for years! A superb piece by Jim Mooney and I'm a bit jeoulous it is not mine!
