DescriptionThe return of Ben Reilly into the Marvel Universe was cuh-razy, mainly because after being killed and brought back to life 26 times by the original Jackal, Ben was a bit cuh-razy.In a nutshell, Ben secretly assumes the mantle of the Jackal, clones EVERYBODY, then when it all falls apart, flees to Vegas, re-dons his famous hoodie, and becomes an anti-hero of sorts. The 'other' Scarlet Spider and Peter-Clone, Kaine, pursues him, which leads to some epic battles. In addition, there are tons of other characters introduced (and re-introduced) into the Scarlet Spider-Verse -- like the HORNET! With the phenomenal Mark Bagley providing the pencils for many of the issues, backed up by amazing inkers like Drew Hennessy, I loved everything about the run. Social/Sharing |

Very cool cover man! Ben Reilly's Scarlet Spider costume is my favorite of all the Spidey suits. Congrats!

As you know, I'm not a fan of the character per se, but I do like the costume and I really like Bagley's art, and the covers to this series were all really nice. I love the camers's p.o.v. a lot on this one!

Nice 3D effect to this cover with some sweet inks throughout, particularly on Hornet (Slingers!!) This was a pretty whacky fun story and Bags really had some dynamic covers and interiors on the run - case in point! Congrats!

Don't let the cover fool you, these two are great friends. Ben even introduced Hornet to Wolver... never mind.
