Description

Reading the original Marvel Zombies back in the 2000's was an experience I haven't forgotten. I was shocked by the fact that these beloved characters were reduced to flesh eating, rotting zombies. But wow, was I hooked and incredibly frightened throughout the story.

I have always been drawn to collecting the covers of the printed comics but had never thought to search for some original Marvel Zombie art. I'm happy I did. I found these two glorious pages.

These pages tell of the Death of the Silver Surfer and the transfer of his cosmic power to the zombies. Great sequence! Plus, this is my first Sean Phillips art!

Since Marvel "What If" shorts is about to feature Marvel Zombies, these art pages will begin being highly valued. I'm still not sure I believe a zombie Hulk could bite through the skin of the fully powered Silver Surfer, but it's a fun "What If ".

Totally agree witht the first paragraph of your description! Frightening, crazy, and FUN. Couldn't put it down once I started reading. Congrats on picking up this key moment - oh poor, poor Norrin :)
