Description

A beautiful and breathtaking ink drawing by master Victor Moscoso, ink on paper, 11 x 15" done in 1967-1968. Multiple usages, done for the San Fransisco Art Institute featured art, as well as being the featured image in recent Moscoso Museum shows on both coasts. Done at the same time as Zap #2. Moscoso along with Robert Crumb and Rick Griffin were the guiding lights of the 1960s art movement that brought forth both psychedelic underground comix and music too; Moscoso did posters for Jimi Hendrix, the Grateful Dead, Jerry Garcia and countless others. A major, finished piece by one of the big three...Disney meets psychedelia.

This one is "out there" and I've enjoyed it a few times without leaving a comment. This one is reminiscent of one I've seen called February from 1968 which happens to be the month and year I was born. I simply cannot fathom the depths of the mind well Moscoso dove to breathe life to such mind blowing treasures. As usual you teach us and entertain us with a diverse stable of art.
