DescriptionTim SaleChapter 2: Thanksgiving I overlooked this series at it's start. Browsing at my LCS I ran across issue 9, the current issue at the time was 11 and sold out. I got the 9 since it was still retail. Other issues were sold out or already too much for my meager wallet. So, I bounced around comic shops near me and picked up the other issues at reasonable prices. Years later, I see this auction and put in my bid. As with many (most) of my wins, I think I was the only bidder. I almost parted with this. I got an offer then made a counter offer and was left hanging, thankfully! Back then, I figured I could score another one no prob since I got this one so easy at a good price. Luckily, I wised up before this became a learning moment. This cover has become a sort of tradition to bring out on Thanksgiving. Along with a table full of food, this cover is lurking somewhere. :O I used to have this up in my gallery with a lower rez scan. Hopefully, this one better shows off Tim Sale's incredible talent. A great tradition to have to remind us to give thanks and appreciation that we've seen giants like Tim Sale grace the medium of comics and put forth their vision.

Yes! Solomon Grundy is such a fun charater, and is one of the few characters I think of when I think about the late great Tim Sale. Love this, and timely posted :) Congrats, and hope you had a happy Thanksgiving!
