I had been pursuing this cover for a while but couldn't get Siya to budge....well, finally, the opportunity presented itself and I jumped! I've always loved this cover and feel as though Siya really honored Michael Turner and Aspen with her work on the run. Thank you so much, Siya and Tatiana for making this happen. I will give her a good home.

Not only is Aspen front and center in all of her glory, but the aquatic background is breathtaking.

Siya inked the cover separately.

We both love Siya's work, but the detail in pencil for Peter to paint shows such reverence to Turner. What a perfect piece, not only in the visual narrative, but the creative significance. Beautiful addition, Johnny!

Jawdroppingly beautiful cover by Siya to Michael Turner's Fathom. This cover features the girl Aspen, who was adopted and raised as a human, but discovers her true nature as one of the Blue, a race of humanoid beings who live in the sea. Even from the scan, you can see the charm and refinement of Siya's pencils, which revel in both the beauty of the sea and the beauty of Aspen herself. Her delicate detailing of the coral reef is exquisite. This issue of Aspen #1 commenorates the 20th anniversary of the first issue of Fathom back in 1998, making this issue a very special one for the book's creator.
