Description

This is probably my favorite Hälge-strip (despite the fact that Hälge himself is nowhere to be seen). When Edvin & Ellen compliments Uffe for his magnificent sow, he responds that his sole reason for keeping pigs is because "he likes to kill them". Edvin later tells a shaken Ellen "he is obviously joking". Me, I'm not so sure about that. Lars Mortimer sometimes had a very drastic (and black) kind of humor...

Nice piece of strip art. Thank you for translating (Swedish?)I am assuming that "Doda Dom" is the term for killing. It has an interesting ring to it its not quite the same but in a weird way reminds me of "Doctor Doom"
