You know what, if I had to choose only one of the many WDAS classics as all-time personal favourite, that would be "Fantasia".
This 1940 movie consists of eight animated segments set to pieces of classical music conducted by Leopold Stokowski and The Sorcerer's Apprentice, based on Goethe's 1797 poem "Der Zauberlehrling" and starring Mickey Mouse as the young apprentice of the sorcerer Yen Sid, is one of the most celebrated and iconic.

This segment tells us a story where Mickey, the sorcerer's apprentice, attempts some of his master's magic tricks but does not know how to control them.

One of the most striking images here is, to me, when Mickey is going to try controlling the various elements, including the water and the stars, and that is the moment I asked Fabio to capture.
Not an easy task for sure, since you don't have animation's movement as a trick.
Again, as he always does since he puts everything in all the pieces he works on, Fabio went far and beyond what I could have imagined: see the masterful composition, which gives you a sense of movement and keeps your eye stuck on the picture, and the amazing rendition of Mickey!

The incredible dynamism is what makes this illustration shine.

My favorite Disney classic too, along with "The Sword in the Stone" and "The Aristocats" :) Celoni made a great homage to this masterpiece!
