More sophisticated artwork and storytelling that set it apart from the superhero genre! The level of realism by Cruz's illustration appealed to the mature audiences wanting some thrills and chills!

Always a fan of Cruz's work. Very underrated mainly (I think) because he seemed to be limited to DC mystery work. If he had done more mainstream Marvel superheroes, his name would be up there with the greats of the era ... and it should be.
