That is a great looking page. I had not realized Zaffino had done any North American work outside of the Winterworld series. Conan and Zaffino are a match made in comic art heaven.

Zaffino did several US books- 2 punisher graphic novels a b/w batman story and a few other things here and there. Winterworld is one of his best works but you should really track down the Conan story and and another book IDW put out in black and white called Seven Block. (avoid the colored marvel epic edition) THose 3 books are his best. And if you want more look up those Punisher GN. All have solid art!

What a great page from this story! Love Zaffino's Conan and the storytelling and draftsmanship on this page is terrific! Great textures and the figures and faces are wonderful

Powerful Conan page by the great Jorge Zaffino! Love the scratchy, gritty style that Zaffino uses here. It seems perfectly appropriate for a Barbarian comic.Love it!
