Description

From 1993's LODK 54 story Sanctum by Mike Mignola and a great art period for him.
In/famously referred to as Mignola's 1st Hellboy story, coming shortly after the Coppola Dracula film adaptation.

I came across the Kayfabe video dedicated to this issue recently and thought I'd post this page. The colouring of the story was quite striking and I was reminded by the video that Mark Chiarello was the colourist which makes complete sense.

Congrats on a great page! Mignola is spot on as usual, but Chiarello often doesn't get the credit he deserves for his coloring. Glad you shouted him out too!

Saw the same Kayfabe video on this and its really prime Mignola, replace Bats with Hellboy and it still works!
