Description

I�ve been a Bill Wenzel fan since forever. During his career, he sold thousands of cartoons, gracing books and magazines with his distinctive artwork. The author of COFFEE, TEA OR ME? credited Wenzel�s art for helping to make the title a bestseller.

Many of Wenzel�s illustrations were done on paper or thin board. This was created on 11� x 15� heavy board and came to me with an 8 �� x 11� prelim. The board is marked as APPROVED 10/21/70. If you think you might know where it was published, please share.

A bombshell of a good girl beauty! People weren't allowed to be outside during her ride, so great gag to bring her to you. The horse makes a cautious approach with a trail leg acting on behalf of Lady Godiva.
