I obviously have got to start paying more attention to the commission threads on the JBF. I didn't see this one until now, I just checked in hoping to find a new piece in your collection. Looks outstanding, Joe!

Can't believe that I have not commented on this one yet! Your collection of Byrne standard commissions is amaing to behold. What started out as a 4th Wolrd theme has evolved into so much more. This piece has so much going one, it is an assault on the eyes, but in a good way. John draws metal better than anyone, but what amazes me about this picture is the way he has the metal bending, which really convesys just how immovable gladiator is. An inspired choice executed so well by John Byrne.

Great! Should be hanging in a New York's Museum of Comic Art (so I could see it in person)!
