DescriptionThis is the cover from the Hulkling and Wiccan #1 one-shot. Hulking is now the Emperor of the Kree-Skrull Alliance, and Wiccan is his Prince Consort. As the newlyweds settle into their new life, they find an artifact that shows them what their lives could have been like had they walked a different path. Love is tested, but ultimately wins out and strengthens their bonds.Peach Momoko's art can be hit or miss for me. I'm generally a bigger fan of her non-Marvel work, but this cover isn't quite like the others. I think the figures, the color, the overall mood of the piece of great. We see the two main characters back to back as they embrace imaginary, could-have-been lovers that take on a celestial form, enticing them to toward different life choices. Magical style of anime and romance with those sparkly stars and the celestial arch over them! Peach incorporates a bit of her usual horror edge as well using ghostly figures for the what if aspect of twists and turns that could have had their relationship turn out different.

beautifully done cover by Peach! the composition here adds to the storytelling and the color work is excellent as usual. congrats on adding a Momoko cover piece as great as this one!

This is the 2nd Hulkling cover I have seen in a week's time. Maybe it's a sign I need to pay more attention to new comics! Congrats on a sweet pick up!
