Description

One of the three Totem Spirits "Athotarho" from The Fourth Book of DragonQuest -Arcane Wisdom pg.15

This book was never commercially published, although photocopies of playtester's version are known to exist.

When I originally asked Tim Truman if he had any information on the piece, this was his reply:
"Yes, Rick, I'm sure it's a TSR piece. Perhaps for Dungeons magazine? Or it might be for SPI games. I graduated from the Kubert School in '81, did work for SPI, then some work for TSR's Dungeon magazine and then went on to become one of TSR's staff artists by late '81 or early '82. -Tim"

I agree with John C, he's the Dick Cheney of hunting partners for his time.

Tim's early gaming work is hard to come by. Great catch Rick.

Truman's figure work certainly got better over time as he refined his skills, but it's so cool to see that even this early on in his career, his style was already pretty well established!
