Description

In 2019 Disney celebrated the 90 years anniversary since the creation of Mickey Mouse and the story "Mickey Mouse: The Quest for the Missing Memories", written by Francesco Artibani with art of various italian Disney artists, was part of those celebrations.

The story sees Mickey struck with amnesia, and it's up to his closest friends (Goofy, Minnie Mouse, Pluto, Donald Duck, Uncle Scrooge, Eega Beeva, and more) to remind him who he is and what he stands for!

Chapter 5 (of the 8) is titled "The Spring of Time" and is marvellously illustrated by Stefano Intini.
The friend that helps Mickey remember in this chapter is Uncle Scrooge and I couldn't think of a better match for Stefano to draw (it's no mystery I absolutely love the way he gives life to both Scrooge and Mickey).

Here's the pencils of page 03 (the story was digitally inked) that shows a wide range of funny expressions by both Mickey and Scrooge.

Excellent page by Intini, down to the smallest details (the street furniture, the cars, that funny little dog). And yes, the expressions are just priceless 😂
