Description

Great montage of monster movie scenes. From King King to The Land That Time Forgot and others, this issue featured uncharted islands of terror. I like the ambiguous flying creature: it could be Mothra, Rodan, a Mahar,...who knows what. Rick did a great job of capturing Ann (Fay) in this scene, too.

She looks so vulnerable even as Kong's hand is painted to be handling her delicately. A silent scream queen then and now as you can imagine her fright and screams in this situation.
