Nice!  It’s funny that you mention ASM #365 cuz when I think the Lizard that’s one of the handful of issues I think of.  So many great shots with that quilted scale design!  Congrats on picking this up directly from the man!

Thanks K Gearon! Same for me about ASM #365. It was the second time I saw the Lizard in a Spidey comic, but in my case it was in The Very Best of Spider-Man TPB and not the individual issue.

That one is more than "just a head sketch", my friend... :)

I had the great good fortune of getting a Ben Grimm / Thing headsketch from Mr. Bagley last year, and it's one of my favorite pieces of art that I have.  Sometimes "just a head sketch" is far, far more than just a head sketch. :)

(and your 'Lizard' theme is among my favorites on CAF, as I also love the character and think it lends itself to lots of wonderful design and experimentation on the part of the great artists you've hit up for "input"...  Such an outstanding and fun gallery!)

Oh wow, thanks, that's awesome to hear and I'm glad it's one of your favorites on CAF! I couldn't agree more about the design of the character. He lends himself to all kinds of fantastic interpretations from artists!
